How pricing works

FlyerOS is priced per aircraft per month, with unlimited users and no minimum. Here is exactly how the bill is worked out.

Last reviewed

FlyerOS is priced per aircraft per month. You multiply your aircraft by your tier's rate, and that is the bill, unlimited users, every base included, and no minimum. The current rates are on the pricing page; this article explains the rules behind them.

What you pay for

  • Aircraft, per month. You are billed for each aircraft that was active at any point during the month. Deactivate one for the whole month and it is not billed that month.
  • Nothing per person. Students, instructors, examiners, engineers and office staff are all included, at every tier. A school that grows from 40 students to 400 pays the same.
  • Every base. Operating from three aerodromes costs the same as operating from one.

The rules that catch people out

  • Simulators and flight training devices count as half an aircraft.
  • Rooms, vehicles and other resources are free, they are bookable, but not billed.
  • There is no minimum, no minimum fleet, no minimum spend, no minimum term beyond a month.
  • All prices exclude VAT.

Migration is separate

Moving your data in is a one-off implementation fee, quoted separately from the monthly subscription. See the pricing page for the figure, and Moving from your current system for what it involves.

Changing tier

You can move tier at any time. Moving up takes effect immediately; moving down takes effect at your next billing month.
