Unsold capacity and demand
How FlyerOS shows the aircraft and instructor hours that went unbooked, and turns empty capacity into a list of who to nudge and when.
Last reviewed
Whitespace is the most expensive thing in a flight school. An aircraft hour or an instructor hour that goes unbooked is gone: you cannot sell yesterday's Tuesday afternoon. FlyerOS makes that lost capacity visible, and then makes it actionable.
What did we not sell
The unsold view shows the aircraft and instructor hours that went unbooked over a period. Not a vague sense that it was quiet, but the actual hours, so you can see where the capacity leaked and how much it was worth.
Demand is the other side of the same coin
Utilisation is a marketing problem wearing an operations costume. Empty capacity is not only an operations figure to regret; it is a list of people to contact. The demand view turns the whitespace into who to nudge and where the room is: the student who has not flown in three weeks, the slot that keeps going empty, the instructor with time no one is booking.
From figure to action
Seeing that Tuesdays are thin is useful. Being handed the members who could fill a Tuesday is what changes the number. FlyerOS points you at the specific people and the specific gaps, so a quiet week becomes a few messages rather than a shrug.
Why it matters more than it looks
A school rarely goes under from one bad month. It bleeds out through hours that were never sold and never noticed. Watching unsold capacity, and acting on demand, is how you stop the slow leak while there is still time to send the message.
