What the schedule checks before it accepts a booking

Before a booking is accepted, FlyerOS checks it against everything it depends on, in one pass, with a plain reason for anything that fails. This article lists what those checks are.

The checks

• The student, eligibility, training stage and any prerequisites for the exercise.
• The instructor, the privileges the booking needs, currency, and duty and rest limits.
• The aircraft, suitability for the exercise, serviceability, and projected maintenance validity at the time of the flight.
• Licences and medicals, valid at the scheduled time, not merely today.
• The school's own rules, curfews, daylight, and any restrictions you have configured.

One engine, one answer

All of these are evaluated together, not one screen at a time. The result is a single answer, bookable, blocked with reasons, or a warning that an authorised person may override, so there is never a booking that looks fine on one screen and is invalid on another.
