How to hold clubhouse, social and associate members who pay dues but do not fly, without giving them a pilot's record they will never use.

Not every member flies. A club has social members, clubhouse members and associates who pay dues, come to events and belong to the club, but who will never book an aircraft. FlyerOS holds them as members without pretending they are students.
A member record, not a pilot record
A non-flying member has the parts of a member that apply to them: contact details, membership type, dues and balance. They do not carry a licence, a medical, a syllabus or a training record, because none of that is true of them. The record shows what the person actually is.
Membership types
You set the membership types your club uses, such as social, clubhouse or associate, and place each non-flying member on one. The type drives their dues and what they are entitled to, so a renewal run bills them correctly alongside the flying members.
Turning into a flying member
If a social member decides to learn to fly, you add the flying parts to their existing record. They do not become a new person in the system, and their membership history stays intact.

Non-flying members live under People, in their own list, so the student and pilot views stay uncluttered while the club still has everyone it bills in one place.
