Your dashboard and the Action Required list
What the dashboard shows, and why the Action Required list is worth clearing before anything else.

The dashboard is your starting point: a summary of today, and an Action Required list of things that need a person. Clear that list first, because everything on it is something the system cannot resolve on its own.
What the dashboard shows
- Today at a glance, how many flights are planned, dispatched and complete, and how many aircraft are ready.
- Action Required, the specific things waiting on you: a check coming due, an expiring rating, an unsigned lesson record, a booking that needs a decision.
What you see is scoped to your role. An instructor sees their students and their flights; a manager sees the whole organisation.
Why Action Required matters
The list is generated from your real data, not a set of reminders someone typed in. If a rating is expiring, it is on the list because the record says so, and it drops off the moment the cause is fixed. Working the list top to bottom is the quickest way to keep the day from going wrong.
It reflects reality, not a to-do you maintain
You never tick these items off by hand. Sign the outstanding record and it leaves the list; renew the rating and its warning disappears. The dashboard is a view of the truth, kept current by everything else you do.
